Innovative, path-breaking, up-to-the-future – the MS RheinEnergie far exceeds all expectations of a conventional ship. The centrepiece inside the huge catamaran is a centrally located stage about 40 m2 in size. The guests on board can view the stage from two levels, the main deck and a gallery on the top deck. The ship was built in 2004: it is 90.3 m long and 19.3 m wide. This specially designed catamaran provides room for up to 1,650 passengers, though the optimum number of guests on board is 600, as will be the case at the Rheingau Music Festival.
How to get there
Departs from Eltville, from the KD jetty, around 100 metres away from the Elector’s Castle (Kurfürstlicher Burg) towards the east.
