The Spa Gardens in Bad Homburg, listed as part of Germany’s cultural heritage, are acknowledged as among the country’s largest and finest. They were laid out starting in 1854 by the renowned landscape gardener Peter Joseph Lenné. Designed in the English style, the 40 hectares of the Spa Gardens are characterised by spacious meadows and solitary trees, dense copses, imposing avenues, elegantly curving paths and a picturesque pond. Historic buildings and monuments sensitively integrated over the course of time bear eloquent witness to the cosmopolitan traditions of the spa resort, such as the »Fountain Hall«, which nowadays houses the casino once again, the two Thai pavilions, the Orangery and above all the Kaiser Wilhelm Baths, with the concert stage in front of them.
