The Balthasar Ress Winery ranks among the major family-owned enterprises in the Rheingau. Continuity at a high standard of performative excellence and stringent dependability have been the firm’s corporate watchwords ever since it was founded in 1870 by the hotelier Balthasar Ress. The winery is nowadays managed in the fourth and fifth generations by Stefan and Christian Ress. The manor house, the vineyards and the expertise required for creating exquisite wines have been handed down in the family from generation to generation. Parking options
Please use the car park at the Rhine. The manor house is only a few minutes’ walk away from there. Take the footpath to the “Pfarrgasse” underpass, since it is not possible to cross the B42 on foot. Please don’t park in front of private houses’ drives.
