In 1917, Jacob Diefenhardt purchased the property in Martinsthal from Baron von Reichenau. Since this date, the winery has been under family management, nowadays by the Seyffardt clan. The winery can look back on several centuries of history and tradition. The cellars in use today, for example, date back to the 17th century. At present, 16 hectares of vines are being cultivated in Martinsthal and Rauenthal, with only the Riesling and Spätburgunder grapes being used for the wines produced.
Parking options
You will find parking slots at the public car-parks in Martinsthal. The Diefenhardt Winery will for each event organise a shuttle service with minibuses to and from the more distant car parks.
